Carla Lynne Hall is a fiercely independent singer/songwriter. Known in musician circles as the DIY Diva (Do-it-Yourself), the Brooklyn singer/songwriter has been writing and performing her original music and gaining fans along the way. Her music, released on her own Moxie Entertainment label, showcases her unique blend of jazz, twang, and soul. Her warm vocal stylings and charismatic performances have been called a cross between Norah Jones and India.Arie. According to Rockrgrl Magazine, Halls velvet voice and heartbreaking songs draw you in with their richness. In 2001, Carla released her debut CD, Front and Center. It reached ..3 on college CMJ radio station playlists, and she signed with the prestigious booking agency, Barbara Coppersmith & Associates. For Mothers Day 2004, Hall released My First Child, the first single from her upcoming second CD, SUPERNOVA, which was produced by Christian Cassan.
